BAAA, MOOO--BELLA AND THE BABY ANIMALS!

Bella had a very exciting morning! We drove to Thanksgiving Point (Lehi, Utah) to take Bella to a baby animal petting zoo and to walk through the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point's gardens. When we first arrived, Bella was a little apprehensive about getting too close to the animals. In fact, the cows scared her and made her cry, but by the time we were leaving she was walking to and trying to grab these same cows! Her favorite animals were the baby sheep, which baaed quite loudly. It was funny because after petting the baby sheep for a while, Bella was baaing as loudly as they were. She even helped mommy feed the sheep some corn! A little later in the morning when she was looking at some baby goats she took the feeding into her own hands and fed them herself. She thought it was so funny that the goats would take the corn out of her hand. She also saw baby cows (she mooed at them), baby pigs (they smelled), chickens (she tried to make a chicken noise, but that was hard), and a lot of full sized animals. Her favorite adult animal was Dolly Llama (we thought it was a funny name). While I was holding her, she was practically trying to jump out of my arms to grab the llama and was laughing hysterically. She also got to hold a baby goat like a stuffy and if you know how much she likes stuffies you'll understand how much she loved holding the baby goat.

The highlight of the baby animal petting zoo was Bella's pony ride. We were a little nervous that she wouldn't like sitting on the Pony, but from the moment Mommy put her on the pony until the ride was over, she had so much fun. It was cute because she was grabbing the horn on the saddle as tightly as she could so she wouldn't fall off. We were disappointed the line was so long for the rides because it would have been fun for her to ride again.

After the baby animals, we went to the tulip festival. There were so many beautiful tulips everywhere at Thanksgiving Point! We got some of the cutest shots of Bella in the tulips and trying to smell them. Mommy really enjoyed walking around the Gardens and looking at all of the flowers and we decided that we wished we had somewhere to plant a pretty garden (although we're not sure that if we a place to plant flowers they would be as pretty as these--Vegas probably isn't as conducive to beautiful gardens). Bella also had fun because there was a lot of grass and open space for her to run--basically she just loves being outside and playing. All in all it was a very fun morning--Bella was exhausted by the time we finally made it back to Provo.
