So Bella has reached the age where she has become very VERY FUNNY!! She is such a busy little thing and I just know her mind is spinning with everything she is constantly discovering!!
She also has so much to say about everything and sometimes the things she says are SO HILARIOUS!! For example...the other day my brother-in-law, Paul, was pushing Bella on the swing. Such a sweet little moment...just niece and uncle playing out in the backyard...calm and peaceful...cats frolicking by...and then Bella says (in her raspiest voice) "LUCIFER!!! LUCIFER going to GET YOU!!!" Needless to say Paul got a little concerned. He quickly brought Bella in the house and started explaining what had just taken place outside. Instantly Nate and I started laughing. We had to explain to him that "Lucifer" is the name of the cat on Cinderella!! She must have been concerned for his safety with those cats wondering about! Ha ha.
Yet another great moment was during sacrament meeting. Right after the sacrament prayer had been said...everything was very quiet and reverent...and then...Bella bust out with the "LUCIFER!!" yet again!! Talk about the wrong place at the wrong time. Those around us...who knew the situation couldn't help but laugh...others...well we had a bit of explaining to do after sacrament!!
She is also very good at interpreting baby talk...we found this out while we were up in Utah. I was holding my niece, Tayla, and she was just babbling away...I looked at Bella and said..."Oh she's talking...do you know what she is saying?" Bella looked right at me very seriously and said,"YES...she say...MMMIIIILLLLKKKK!!" Ha ha. What a talent!
Another classic...while we were in Utah she loved finding the "Y" on the mountain. Whenever we were out driving she would remind us all of it's presence!! One afternoon we were over in Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove has "G" on their mountain) well Bella must have remembered right then about the "Y" and started looking for it...suddenly from the back of the car we hear a shriek...and then Bella shockingly stated..."SOMEONE BROKE IT!! SOMEONE BROKE THE Y!!!"
GOT TO LOVE KIDS!! They do say some of the funniest things!!

Bella Dancerella!!!
So Bella started DANCE CLASS today with two of her best friends...Katelyn and Katherine!! It was just about the cutest thing I have ever seen! Her little class is a storybook ballet class so the girls come and learn ballet...they read a fairytale story....and then they dress-up like a character from the book and perform little steps!! Bella had a great time...hopefully she wasn't to distracting to all the other little girls...ha ha...she is quite the dancer. If music is on...she just can't sit still. Ha ha...and then when she discovered the mirrored walls...she became even more dancerish...she loved looking at herself in the mirrors! Ha ha.
SO anyways...today they did Snow White. The girls learned some ballet steps in the beginning...then they read Snow White (which of course Bella was totally into it all...PRINCESSES are her THING!) After the story they all got to put on Snow White dresses and headbands. Then they danced around a wishing well...and threw their flowers in...they even pretended to take a bite of an apple...fall asleep on the floor...and be awoken by a love tap. Ha ha. Ohhh...so much fun!! I can't believe my little girl is so grown up!! Love her!

Hawley's Visit
On Saturday Grandma and Grandpa Hawley stopped by...ha ha...yep they drove all the way from California to visit just for the DAY!! Ha ha...impressive! We were glad that they were able to come...it was fun visiting...and watching the BYU game of course! Grandpa was able to meet and hold Sophie for the first time too!

NEW POSTS
OK...so we have been so busy these past few weeks and I am finally caught up with my blogging. So...the next SEVEN POSTS are all BRAND NEW. Hey...at least I am caught up with something...hmmm...now if I could only get everything else done. Laundry....dishes...house cleaning....exercising...oh the list goes on and on...
Anyways...enjoy the posts!!
BYU FOOTBALL
Our veins truly run blue...it's a family thing!! We all love BYU football! Nate was so excited because while we were in Utah...BYU played their first game of the season! My mom and dad are cougar club members and have season tickets so we were able to go to the game!! Bella came too...she had so much fun...she really liked watching Cosmo run around the field...cheering touchdown...and singing the fight song. A cougar in training. My dad watched Sophie while we had all the fun...thanks dad!! And thanks to you both for letting us use some of your tickets!! We had a blast!
Grandma and Bella
Hooray...I finally got a picture of her smiling...this was like picture number 50.
Julie, Bryan, Tayla, and my mom!! Tayla is like the best baby...she is only like four months and she NEVER cries. She even lasted the whole game...totally content. Seriously...where is my baby like that!! Ha ha.
GG and GGP
Nate and I are really lucky to have all our grandparents still around! Since we went up to Utah my Grandpa and Grandma Heaps were able to meet and see Sophie too. It was cute to see them hold her...we actually named her after both of my grandmas...Janie Sharon and Mary Jane. We pray that she will live up to the legacy of her name.
Hogle ZOO
While we were in Provo we decided to take the girls to the zoo. Basically it was just for Bella...ha ha...Grandpa and Grandma Noorda came with us too!! We saw so many fun animals since the weather was perfect and it wasn't very crowded since school has already started! Bella loved the big cats the best. We even had to go look at the cougars twice. I guess she knows where it's at...go COUGARS! Ha ha. We also watched an amazing bird show. Bella was mesmerized with all the big birds...they flew right over the audience and sometimes their wings touched people's heads. At the end we all got a picture with a bald eagle! My dad took some really great pictures...I am going to have to get those from him. His pictures are WAY better then mine!
We also took Bella by the Salt Lake City Temple. She loved it right away since it looks like the Cinderella castle. We told her that the temple is where Princes and Princesses get married! She then told us that she was going to go there too just like Cinderella. So cute!
Fun times in Provo
We had so much fun on our little mini vacation. We relaxed...as much as you can I guess with a newborn and a toddler... ha ha. We did a little shopping...more like window shopping and we just had fun as a family. Bella loved the horse in front of the University Mall and she begged to give it a hug. She also really loved the Disney store. It was quite the find...she dressed up in the Cinderella outfit and just gushed over all the princess things!! We also went to Cold Stone...Bella was REALLY loving it!
Uncle Chris came over and hung out with us too. Bella loves him a lot because he throws her in the air! She calls it...FLY ME!!
My parents also came up to Provo later in the week and joined in the fun...well...the real reason we were all there was for my nephew's baby blessing...we just happened to go up a little bit earlier...when they arrived we all went out to dinner for Jan's birthday. And...yes Jan...that picture is for you!!
We also got Sophie's handprints and footprints done through tiny touches. We had Bella's done when she was first born and I seriously love it...I am definitely getting all my kids prints down. It is such a treasure to have!
And...sad...the only picture I got of cute Ethan and Sophie...they were both crying. Cute anyway right? Crying Cousins.
