"Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine ... " We have a new obsession at our house - TANGLED!
If you haven't seen the newest Disney Princess movie yet, you're really missing out. Its hard to find good, clean movies anymore, but this one doesn't disappoint. It's so cute! The girls love it, I love it, and Nate even liked it (although his obsession doesn't quite reach our level since he's only seen it with us twice and we're up to our fourth time!).
Today we didn't have much going on, so we decided it would be a perfect day for Tangled - of course it helps that it's in the dollar theater now, so it's a pretty inexpensive activity. When I asked the girls if they wanted to see Tangled again, they not only enthusiastically yelled "yeah" but started jumping up and down in place. So we got all dolled up (a.k.a. the girls put on their Rapunzel dresses) and headed out.
Arriving at the theater we discovered we were the ONLY ones in the theater (I guess 2:15 on a Monday afternoon isn't high traffic time - who knew), so we geared up for not only watching the movie, but for dancing and singing along. The girls were in heaven as the movie began and watched in rapt awe as if it were the first time seeing it! So cute to see them get so into it!
Hmm...see any resemblances here? Green eyes, long blonde hair, purple gown - I didn't realize that they modeled Rapunzel after Bella! :) She loves that Rapunzel looks like her, but says she doesn't need her hair to be quite that long.

This is our favorite scene in the movie - the floating laterns. Sigh. So so pretty! It doesn't matter how young or old a girl is, she just loves the romance. Bella is funny though because whenever this scene comes on she is so excited she can't handle it so she covers her eyes (mostly at least, she keeps her finger apart just enough so that she can kind of see through them).
My little Rapunzels ready for the excitement to begin! Took these pictures with my cool phone and laugh that they posed the same way for both! Ha ha. We had such a good time today that we may have to visit the dollar theater again before it leaves! I'm sure I wouldn't have any complaints from the princesses!

That is so adorable! Bella really does look like her:) We have seen it twice in the theaters and even the boys loved it both times. Callie asks me at least once a day if it is out on DVD yet!
