Bibbidi Bobbidi BOUTIQUE!!

The Fairy Godmother has finally gone into BUSINESS! She is using her sparkly magic and transforming little girls down in Florida into...REAL PRINCESSES!! Bella was one such lucky little girl! The appointment was set...Saturday at 12:30...and the magic began!

FIRST...Nails must be polished and PINK!

SECOND...Eye Shadow in luscious shades or PURPLE and BLUE.

THIRD...SPARKLY princess hair with CROWN.

And finally...THE DRESS!!

BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOO!!!

Turn around to see...PRINCESS BELLA!!

Princesses always SMILE for the camera!!

They pose by other PRINCESSES!

They sit ever so properly on the bus!

They are careful not to scratch their nails.

They always....ALWAYS...get their PRINCE!

And they live HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

We have no idea who this little boy is...ha ha...Bella was sitting on the bench waiting for the bus and they just started holding hands. Then they got up and walked around together...and they even danced!! All of us has quite a laugh...even this little prince's parents. Gosh it starts young! AHHHHHH!

Kiddo FUNNIES!!

FEBRUARY 2012
Sophie wasn't feeling good. I could hear her coughing in the other room and then suddently she ran into my room. She looked very concerned and explained that, "Mommy! I was coughing and then stuff came out!" She then proceeded to throw up - again. That "stuff" would be throw up, Sophie. Yuck! Ha ha.

JANUARY 2011

I asked Sophie if she knew how to spell her name and then started helping her spell it out. She repeated each letter after me..."s, o, p, h...." Then I wanted to see if she could finish it on her own...so I stopped and told her to keep going to which she finished... "1, 2, 3!!!" Ha ha.

OCTOBER 2009

Bella, Sophie and I went with my mom and GG to the Airforce Base - as we were driving there Bella asked where we were going. Hmmm...I wasn't sure how to explain it. I told her we were going to the place where the soldiers who fight for our country live...the guys with (I almost said guns...but changed my mind knowing she would understand better if I said swords...she doesn't know what guns are.) Anyways - she got all excited and exclaimed..."MOMMY - IS THIS WHERE HELAMAN'S ARMY LIVES!!!" Ha ha. She was so excited! Love it.

AUGUST 2009

Sophie's favorite words are "this" and "that." It's so cute!

While playing at the park Bella tripped and fell. Ha. She looked up and said. "My goodness Mom...this always happens to me! I hurt myself so much!" Ha ha.

This so so sweet!! The other night while Nate and I were watching the girls play in the tub...Bella suddenly got quiet. We usually don't pay much attention to what they are saying...we chat on the floor while they play. But since she got quiet (a rare occurance) we stopped chatting to listen. And I am so glad we did. Because Bella leaned over to Sophie and reverently asked... "Sophie...do you remember Jesus?" It was so sweet. Sophie just starred at her...I'm sure she she had so much she wanted to say. Love my girls!

Whenever Bella doesn't want to do something...she uses these excuses...ha ha. "I'm too busy!" "I'm too lazy!" Or...and this is my personal favorite... "Mom...I'm just a little too little to do that!"

Bella found one of my old braclets and started playing with it. She then put it on her ankle and came running out and said, "LOOK Mom! I'm a Lamanite!"

JULY 2009

Bella loves to sing. She can usually memorize a song quickly and then sing it whenever she feels. One day she started singing I Love To See The Temple, she sang everything perfect - and then at the end she sang - "this is my sacred TOOTIE!" Ha ha. We were rolling!

APRIL 2009

One day while we were talking about Daddy, Bella leaned over and said - "Mommy - Daddy, he loves hims girls!" Ha ha. So cute. She now says this all the time.

MARCH 2009

Bella likes to sit in Sophie's BUMBO. She is way too big for it and her bottom usually gets stuck when she tries to get out. One day - after this happened - she started crawling around with it stuck there. She looked at me all excited and said..."Look Mom! I'm a TURTLE!" I got quite a good laugh...first because she had made such a cute connection. And second because she really did look like a turtle. So funny!

Our conversation on the way to the lake (in the car following the boat trailer)

Me - Bella Look! The boat!

Bella - Where?

Me - Right there! (pointing to the boat driving right in front of us)

Bella - That no boat mom!

Me - Yes it is...look there.

Bella - That no boat mom - boats float.

During Sacrament Meeting Bella leans over and tells us in a sweet whisper..."Guys - it's time to think about Jesus. He died for us. He loves us so we can live with Heavenly Father again!" So true my dear! Thanks for the reminder!

While driving again - this time at night - Bella noticed a little star. She was so excited and said...

"Look guys - it's a star shining brightly!" The best part was she kind of said it with the inflections from the Primary Song.

FEBRUARY 2009

While driving in the car...Bella exclaims from the back - "Mommy - Guess WHAT!?"

Me - "What honey...?"

Bella - "I tasted my SNOTies...and they tasted good!!"

GROSS!!! Ha ha.

Bella is also a great personal trainer - one day I took the girls out in the stroller for a run...and whenever I stopped for a break Bella would yell one of the following...

"Run Mama Run!"

"Mama you lazy?"

"Why you stop?"

"Go Mama Go!"

Needless to say it was quite motivating...and humiliating!

One night after reading Bella's scriptures we asked her...are you a child of God? Bella looked at us like...yeah right. And said... "No Mom...I Princess Aurora!" Oh gosh!

Commenting on the yummy aroma of cookies baking in our kitchen Bella proclaimed..."Mom!! That stinks so well!!"

JANUARY 2009

While driving home...

Bella - "We go back to Bella's House?"

Me - "Yep!"

Bella - "Mom you live at Bella's house!"

Me - "Oh I do...thanks!"

Bella - "Mom...Sophie live at Bella's house!"

Me - "You are right she does..."

LONG SILENCE...at this point I am wondering if she lost her train of thought...so I ask...

Me - "Does Daddy live at Bella's house?"

Bella - (without hesitation) "No - he live at SCHOOL!"

After a long flight home from Hawaii - we were all tired - especially Bella. She kept asking my mom and me when we were going to get home...and so my mom exlained to her that Great Grandpa was going to pick us up from the aiport and take us home. She must have been only half listening because she preked up all excited and said...

"Where is him? Where is Great Grand Cracker!?"

DECEMBER 2008

After going to the bathroom Bella announced...

"Mommy - I did three things!! Poops, Pees, and Tooters!" Ha ha.

Looking at a picture of Santa...Bella proudly exclaimed...

"Look Mom!! It's LEHI!"

AUGUST 2008

One day my brother-in-law, Paul, was pushing Bella on the swing. Such a sweet little moment...just niece and uncle playing out in the backyard...calm and peaceful...cats frolicking by...and then Bella says (in her raspiest voice) "LUCIFER!!! LUCIFER going to GET YOU!!!" Needless to say Paul got a little concerned. He quickly brought Bella in the house and started explaining what had just taken place outside. Instantly Nate and I started laughing. We had to explain to him that "Lucifer" is the name of the cat on Cinderella!! She must have been concerned for his safety with those cats wondering about! Ha ha.

Yet another great moment was during sacrament meeting. Right after the sacrament prayer had been said...everything was very quiet and reverent...and then...Bella bust out with the "LUCIFER!!" yet again!! Talk about the wrong place at the wrong time. Those around us...who knew the situation couldn't help but laugh...others...well we had a bit of explaining to do after sacrament!!

She is also very good at interpreting baby talk...we found this out while we were up in Utah. I was holding my niece, Tayla, and she was just babbling away...I looked at Bella and said..."Oh she's talking...do you know what she is saying?" Bella looked right at me very seriously and said,"YES...she say...MMMIIIILLLLKKKK!!" Ha ha. What a talent!

While we were in Utah she loved finding the "Y" on the mountain. Whenever we were out driving she would remind us all of it's presence!! One afternoon we were over in Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove has "G" on their mountain) well Bella must have remembered right then about the "Y" and started looking for it...suddenly from the back of the car we hear a shriek...and then Bella shockingly stated..."SOMEONE BROKE IT!! SOMEONE BROKE THE Y!!!"

JULY 2008

After taking the cat to the groomers...to be shaved...YES...we shave our cat...ha ha...Bella exclaimed...

"Look Boober lost him's fur!!"

As we were cleaning up the house I asked Bella to help clean up some of her toys and she replied...

"I can't Mom. I too LAZY!"

One day Bella was trying to get Nate's attention while he was driving. She kept saying..."DADDY!! Daddy...dad...daddy..." until she gave up...and then from the backseat we hear... "NATE!" Ha ha...she is learning young how to really get our attention.
