Lunch with Bella...

Today, lunch went a little something like this...

Bella: "Mom why do we eat lunch?"

Me: "Because it's good for your body."

Bella: "Why is it good for your body?"

Me: "Because food helps your body grow strong and healthy."

Bella: "Why do we need to be strong and healthy?"

Me: "Because then you can do all the fun things you love like ballet and running and singing..."

Bella: "Why do we like to sing?"

Me: "Because it's pretty to hear someone sing - it makes you feel happy."

Bella: "Oh ok. Mom - why do we have wheels on cars?"

Me: "Because they help the car move from place to place."

Bella: "Why does the car have doors?"

Me: "So that we can get inside the car."

Bella: "Why do we like to get inside the car?"

Me: "So we can travel places."

Bella: "Why does the car have all them sitting places?"

Me: "Because we like to sit while we drive places and with lots of seats we can bring lots of people."

Bella: "Why do we sit while we drive?"

And she went on and on and on! Ha ha. She is in such a "WHY" stage right now! So inquisitive! Love it.
